Forum Mobility

Biography

Will has over 15 years in energy infrastructure experience and has held leadership positions in policy, communications, siting, local affairs, origination, and development across North America. As a Vice President, Will leads the Origination team at Forum Mobility. Forum is a developer, owner and operator of heavy-duty charging depots and a buyer and lessor of electric semi-trucks. The charging depots are the next generation of fueling stations and are being developed by Forum at ports, along trucking routes and near freight warehouses to serve the drayage industry. The electric semi-trucks are the next generation of freight haulers and are being offered by Forum to owner-operators, carriers and fleets through an easy to manage and cost-competitive turn-key solution.

In his capacity as head of Origination at Forum, Will is responsible for the Sales and Incentives teams. The Sales team is the forward-facing aspect of the company that services the trucking industry with electric solutions for the transition to zero-emissions.  The Incentives team works with customers, policymakers, equipment manufacturers and other stakeholders in bundling public funds to offer the lowest cost for charging infrastructure and trucks to customers.

Prior to Forum, Will was Vice-President of Western Business Development for North Carolina based, Strata Clean Energy. In his time at Strata, he co-developed one of the largest stationary battery energy storage projects in the world and co-led a market leading portfolio of utility scale solar and battery storage facilities. Prior to Strata, Will was at Recurrent Energy where he led the government affairs group. He managed strategic initiatives across the solar and storage portfolio and co-led the company’s market entry into the mountain west.  Will got his start in the energy industry with Competitive Power Ventures, an independent power producer, where he supported policy and development activities across the United States and Canada for portfolio of conventional and renewable energy facilities.

Will is active in his local community where he serves as a volunteer firefighter and was previously an elected Fire District Commissioner. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
