Nick has a background in renewable energy research, chiefly in biofuels and solar technology. He has spent the last 10 years working with nonprofits and social impact organizations, which have refined his aptitude for business development, capital fundraising, and grant writing. Most recently, he received U.S. Department of State funding, through the Mandela Washington Fellowship, to travel to Lagos, Nigeria where he worked with a team to deploy a solar energy community center, run by the women of the village. He has a degree in chemical engineering and has worked with several startup companies in the energy field.
