Biography

Cleo Carter, a senior from Albemarle, NC, is majoring in Public Policy and Political Science, with plans to graduate in May 2025. She is passionate about using public policy to lead the global energy transition, particularly focusing on grid upgrades, permitting reform, and expanding renewable energy capacity. Now in her second year of Cleantech Summit planning as a Cleantech Corner Initiative intern with a background in both federal and state energy policy, Cleo is eager to deepen her knowledge by building connections and exploring diverse perspectives in the energy field.
