Anthony Buckley

Biography

Anthony Buckley is an honors undergraduate at UNC-Chapel Hill majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Public Policy. His interests center around green economic development and renewable energy policy, specifically in rural areas. He is interested in finding ways to facilitate the clean energy transition in areas that depend on fossil fuels and blue-collar jobs. He is currently serving in the UNC undergraduate student government in the Department of Environmental Affairs. He also serves on the Carolina Sustainability Council where he helps advise the Chancellor on campus-wide sustainability initiatives. As a Cleantech intern, Anthony is very excited about developing panels on agricultural topics and meeting new and innovative people from around the industry.
