Stephanie Villanueva

Biography

Stephanie Villanueva is the administrative support associate for the UNC Institute for the Environment. She comes from a background in local government. For the last 18 years, she has worked in various departments helping the public. She has worked in planning and zoning as well as building and permitting departments. She approaches all aspects of any job with a positive, hardworking mindset, and is passionate about helping find a solution to any challenge. Her role in the UNC Institute for the Environment is managing the suite, and helping staff at events and in day-to-day needs. In her spare time, Villanueva loves traveling and photography with her husband, and spending time with their 2 golden retrievers.
