Biography
Mitierra Johnson is an environmental health research assistant for the Center for Public Engagement with Science (CPES). In 2022, she completed her field practicum as an environmental health intern with CPES as part of her graduation requirements in the NC Central University Public Health Education Department. In her new role, she assists with implementing environmental health education programming on lead and other hazards in homes, particularly for CPES’s public health, housing and community-based stakeholders.
