Lynn Chesnut

Research Associate, Center for Public Engagement with Science

Biography

Lynn Chesnut is a research associate with the Center for Public Engagement with Science. She is currently the project coordinator for the Iterative Design to Engage All (IDEA) Learners project which engages NC high school teachers in the co-development of PFAS-related curricula.

Prior to joining CPES in 2023, she was a middle school science teacher for almost 20 years. She also is finishing her Ph.D. in STEM education. Her dissertation is titled “How Do Science Museum Exhibits Contribute to Perceptions of Inclusion and Belonging?”
