Online environmental health resource to assist communities after hurricane

September 30, 2018

In response to requests from state and local partners following Hurricane Florence, the UNC Center for Environmental Health and Susceptibility (UNC CEHS) has compiled a list of online environmental health resources to assist communities who are recovering and rebuilding. The goal of NC Disaster Response and Recovery: Environmental Health Resources is to provide a clearinghouse of materials that can be used to inform residents in impacted counties about environmental health issues they may encounter. This site contains links to educational materials on the following topics: moisture and mold cleanup, safe drinking water and food, mosquito and insect control, and air quality hazards. There also is a page with information related to child care centers.
