Yutong Qiu


Yutong Qiu is a first-year from Cary, North Carolina, and an Environmental Science major in the dual degree program for a master’s in information science. She has grown up in Beijing thus experienced the consequences of fossil fuel burning firsthand which motivated her into studying renewable energy. This is her first-year interning at the Clean Tech Summit, and she hopes to use her ability to speak fluent Chinese to connect with leading green hydrogen and electric car companies in China to bring a unique voice into the global energy transition conversation. In the future, Yutong wants to work in the field of renewable energy development as a data analyst and help build a sustainable planet.
