Biography

As Associate Director, Tracy manages the Center for Sustainable Enterprise as a resource hub for faculty, students, staff and businesses interested in sustainability as a personal, business or academic pursuit. She has Co-created and implemented action-based, experiential leadership courses for Undergraduate and MBA students and advises UNC students on personal, academic, and sustainability career interests. Tracy currently serves as an adviser for the Social Impact Summer Grant program for full-time MBA students and as Faculty Adviser for the MBA and Undergraduate Net Impact Club, Carolina Conscious, and the UNC Men’s Ultimate Club Team, Darkside. Tracy is also a member of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business Cares Committee. With a degree from UC Santa Barbara in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Natural Resources Management, Tracy’s career has taken her across the country from winemaking in Santa Barbara, to research and teaching in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to designing programs and exhibits in Virginia to creating a comprehensive bio-diversity based environmental education program on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and finally, to fundraising and donor relations in Durham before joining UNC Kenan-Flagler and the Center for Sustainable Enterprise team.
