Tony Lathrop
Biography
Anthony “Tony” Lathrop joined the N.C. Board of Transportation in March 2017. He chairs the board’s Funding/Appropriation Strategies (FAST) Committee.
Lathrop is a partner with the law firm of Moore & Van Allen PLLC in Charlotte, where he specializes in commercial litigation, zoning, land use and dispute resolution. He served on the Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission from 2011 until 2017 and chaired the commission for three years, from 2014 until 2017.
A resident of Charlotte, Lathrop holds both undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
