Tony Curnes

Biography

Tony Curnes is a co-founder and partner at PVG and has over a decade of experience in private markets investing and finance-oriented advisory roles. Prior to PVG, Tony was a Principal at Centerbridge Partners where he made private equity and distressed credit investments, primarily in the technology sector. He has previously served on the boards of Trove, a circular economy platform, and Syncsort (now Precisely), a data integrity software provider. He started his career in Blackstone’s M&A group. Tony is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the M&T Program at the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, with degrees in engineering and economics. He enjoys using the language of finance to render difficult strategic questions clear. That, and tackling dense works of philosophy. He lives in Brooklyn.
