Tiana Petree
Biography
Tiana Petree is a Senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studying Psychology with minors in Entrepreneurship and Education. Tiana is interested in Social Entrepreneurship, Philanthropy, Teacher Pedagogy, and Education Equity. Through the pilot of the Burch Seminar in SIlicon Valley, made possible by Honors Carolina and The Shufford Program in Entrepreneurship, Tiana was able to spend seven months in Silicon Valley, CA. For the first four months she interned at an Education Nonprofit, Peninsula Bridge, and for the latter three months she interned in the HR Department at Carbon, Inc. This experience gave Tiana new approaches to problem solving, diversity, and inclusion, while increasing her understanding of entrepreneurial thinking.
