Thad Culley

Biography

Thad Culley is Senior Manager of Public Policy for Sunrun, the largest provider of residential solar and energy storage services in the country. Prior to joining Sunrun, Thad was Sr. Regional Director and Regulatory Counsel for the national nonprofit Vote Solar and a partner at the renewable energy law firm Keyes & Fox, LLP, where he represented clients in net metering and interconnection proceedings, electric utility rate cases, and other general distributed energy resource policy matters. Thad graduated from N.C. State with a B.A. in History and earned his J.D. with a certificate in Environmental Law from Tulane Law School. Thad is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina and is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Utilities Law specialist.
