Mette Asmussen

Biography

Mette Asmussen is the Maritime Advisor at the Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C. covering all files related to policy developments in the maritime sector in the US and policy areas with impact on the maritime sector. She has previously worked five years for the Danish shipping company Maersk both in the Headquarters in Copenhagen as well as in Shanghai. Prior to that Mette worked with EU and international affairs in a Danish ministry and holds a master’s in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark.
