Marisa Scavo is a Project Developer that has dedicated the past three years to advancing the Northeast’s clean energy program for Cypress Creek Renewables. She has managed development and permitting for over 30 late-stage development projects in NY, ranging from 2 MW community solar projects to 100 MW utility-scale projects.
She also currently leads transmission project origination and early-stage development for Cypress Creek projects in Northern New England, and in the past has focused on the company’s Solar + Pollinator Initiative to support the collocation of renewable energy and agriculture, international electrification project construction and fundraising in Nepal and Puerto Rico, and the company’s first diversity internship program supporting students of color, women, and veterans.
Marisa has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
