Lucia Strader
Biography
Lucia Strader is an associate professor of Biology at Duke University and is a member of the multi-disciplinary Duke Center for Quantitative BioDesign, and founded the Plant-Climate Innovation Network, which brings together North Carolina academic, industry, and non-profit interests in the intersection of plant biology and climate change.
Her research focuses on plant hormone biology. Her lab has a particular interest in combining plant physiology, genetics, and biochemistry/biophysics to address open questions in the field, including how the plant hormone auxin integrates environmental cues into plant growth and development.
