UNC Clean Tech Speaker
Lili E. Zay

Biography
Lili will graduate from UNC this May as a Morehead-Cain scholar with degrees in Philosophy and Comparative Literature. However, her personal and career focus is on environmental work. She has worked in marine conservation and climate change mitigation at the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Oceania Regional Office in Suva, Fiji, and at the Palau International Coral Reef Center, in The Republic of Palau. She has also spent a summer as a ranch hand on a rural cattle ranch in New Mexico, learning about holistic land management and regenerative grazing. She plans to pursue a career that allows her to coordinate her amphibious interests. Lili loves hiking with her dog, working on local farms, diving with sharks, and learning about unconventional ways to save the world.
