UNC Clean Tech Speaker
Keegan Dean is a senior focusing in economics and environmental studies at UNC. His research has focused on electric and autonomous vehicle strategy to stimulate widespread adoption. He has been an active member of the Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee (RESPC) for four years and has held internships in solar and wind project development. Keegan was appointed co-chair of RESPC for the 2017-2018 academic year and has implemented several projects aimed to educate the campus community on the benefits of renewables and energy efficiency. He believes that electric vehicle use paired with distributed energy systems are the key to long-term sustainability.
