Kathryn Hill
Biography
Kathryn Hill initiates sustainable landscape strategies for solar farm installation and maintenance. Her experience combines both site specific design methodologies including permaculture as well as a regional analysis approach utilizing natural systems overlay mapping. Kathryn has over 15 years of experience in the green industry interpreting topography, hydrologic patterns, soils, and native plant communities to simulate patterns observed from existing natural ecosystems. She analyzes site specific data for recommendations including erosion mediation, soil amendments, plant types and maintenance procedures that work for solar on a social, environmental, and economic level.
Kathryn graduated with a B.S. in Horticulture and earned her MLA from North Carolina State University and is an Associate Member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
