Biography

Jeff Juger is Director of Business Development at Shanghai-headquartered JinkoSolar, the world’s largest PV module manufacturer and the best-selling brand globally for each of the last 4 years. He is responsible for corporate strategy, bankability, partnerships, market research, policy, government affairs, and messaging in the U.S. and Canada. In 2018, he worked on site selection and incentive negotiation for JinkoSolar’s first U.S. factory in Jacksonville, Florida and remains active in the state, where he serves on the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors. Previously, he was Director of Marketing & Strategy at Hanwha Q CELLS, where he oversaw the integration of the Korean Hanwha and German Q-Cells brands. He has served on the Board of Directors at the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and was part of a group that successfully lobbied for the extension of the solar investment tax credit. In total, he has 10 years of solar industry experience. Before working in the solar industry, Jeff negotiated shipbuilding and surface systems contracts for the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, DC. Jeff is a 2016 recipient of the Johns Hopkins Outstanding Graduate Award for professional and volunteer achievements and is a member of the Johns Hopkins University Second Decade Society. He is also Vice Chair of the Yale School of Management Alumni Advisory Board. Jeff holds BAs in International Relations and East Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. A native of Connecticut, he now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
