Biography

Glen Snider is the Director of Integrated Resource Planning and Analytics for Duke Energy’s Carolinas utilities. Glen holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Economics from Illinois State University. He began his career in 1989 as an analyst for the Illinois Department of Energy and Natural Resources prior to moving to the private sector in 1992. Over the last 25 years he has held various positions with regulated utilities, merchant power companies and an energy focused private equity firm. These positions include management roles in the areas of market research, financial risk management and transaction structuring. In his current role as the Director of the resource planning function for Duke Energy’s Carolinas utilities Glen oversees analysis, recommendations and regulatory filings relating to changes in the utilities’ generation supply portfolio.
