Erin Danford
Biography
Erin Danford is a junior environmental science major and geography minor at UNC Chapel Hill. Her experience includes interning with the Environmental Finance Center, the Southern Environmental Law Center, and representing various campus environmental organizations. Erin also serves as student organization president and board member of Kay Blada Recycling, a Haitian recycling startup based out of North Carolina. Last summer, Erin studied renewable energy and city planning in Germany and the Netherlands on Dr. Greg Gangi’s Burch Field Research Seminar. This year, she was also nominated by Institute for the Environment faculty to serve as a student representative on the Institute for the Environment’s Board of Visitors.
