Diane Cherry
Biography
Diane Cherry is an energy consultant (Diane Cherry Consulting) and works for clean energy companies, non-profits, and educational institutions on clean energy related work in North Carolina and the Southeast. Her work spans from business market development, policy white papers, strategic analysis, and communications. Current and past projects include development of a South Carolina Continuing Legal Education conference for the SC Clean Energy Business Alliance, work with NC military bases on energy resilience efforts and facilitation of critical conversations on clean energy.
Diane has over twenty years of public policy and stakeholder engagement experience in North Carolina and the Southeast. She has spent her career forming and leading talented groups of diverse people to construct public policy solutions. Diane has worked in public, non-profit, and educational organizations and she is able to bring these different perspectives toward coalition building to achieve public policy goals. Diane has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
