The KITS project is currently in year one of a three-year effort. The goals of the project, and the timeline for those goals, are presented below.

Fall 2020 – Fall 2021

Fall 2021 – Fall 2022

-Identification of dredge projects and assessment of sediment

-Assessment of dredge and placement options

-Quantification of protective and non-protective benefits

Fall 2022 – Fall 2023

-Project design and scoping with regulators

-Development of guidance and outreach
