Natalie Poupart is an environmental research assistant for the Center for Public Engagement with Science where she assists with the management, research, and communication of information for environmental science and environmental health programming. She believes in the power of knowledge and making information accessible and attainable so all are about to be educated about what is happening in the environment and what we can do about it.
Natalie is currently a senior studying Biostatistics and Mathematics and minoring in Health and Society. She is from Wake Forest, North Carolina and passionate about the power of public health to function upstream at a population level to promote and protect the health of people, communities, and the environment. She plans on pursuing the field of public health, with hopes of using data science to improve lives and address inequities. In her free time, Natalie can be found doing puzzles, spending time with her dogs outdoors, and enjoying sites and activities in Chapel Hill with her friends.
