Biography

Janina Millis is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after transferring from Carteret Community College in the fall of 2018. She is working towards her B.A. in Environmental Studies and is hoping to attend graduate school later on to obtain her M.A. in Strategic Communications. She is working for UNC’s Institute for the Environment’s Center for Public Engagement with Science (CPES) as an environmental research assistant (work-study). She assists in preparing educational and communication materials for public health, educational, and environmental programs as well as supports other departments with their various projects.
