Hailey Galit is an environmental research assistant for the Center for Public Engagement with Science where she assists with the management, research, and communication of information for various programs, such as the Lake Observations by Citizen Scientists & Satellites project (LOCSS) and the Energy Literacy, Engagement, and Action Program (Energy LEAP).
She is currently a senior studying Geology, Spanish, and Environmental Science, but she plans to pursue the field of water resource management in the future, with hopes of helping both humans and ecosystems obtain the water they need to thrive. In her free time, she can be found reading, hiking in nature, and learning to play the guitar.
