Biography
Farzaneh Taksibi is a graduate research assistant at the UNC Institute for the Environment. Her research interests are air pollution and atmospheric modeling. She is working on modeling volatile particulate matter from aircraft emissions. Her master’s degree is in energy systems engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, where her thesis was on the environmental effectiveness analysis of energy policies of air pollution in the megacity of Tehran.
