Biography
Ann Colley is director of public relations and charitable giving at Moore Capital Management, LP and executive director and vice president of The Moore Charitable Foundation (MCF) and its affiliate foundations. As the principal adviser to Moore Charitable founder and chairman Louis Bacon, Colley has spent more than two decades guiding the foundation’s grant making and partnerships with many of the nation’s foremost conservation organizations. She also represents Moore Charitable in collaboration with local community organizations.
A native of North Carolina, Colley joined MCF in 1994 as its first executive director, after working in presidential, gubernatorial and congressional campaigns. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Waterkeeper Alliance, which MCF was instrumental in founding, and is on the board of the University of North Carolina’s Institute for the Environment. She is a member of The National Council of the Land Trust Alliance, Oceana’s Ocean Council, and Oceans 5. Colley attended Hollins University and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in New York City and has two sons.
