The 2017 UNC Science Expo is a free, family-friendly event offering more than 100 fascinating exhibits with hands-on experiments, riveting demonstrations, laboratory tours, stage entertainment and much more!
The Institute for the Environment will showcase an exhibit exploring toxins commonly found in North Carolina homes, and provide strategies and resources for families to decrease their exposure to those toxins. Several hands on activities will help adults and children learn to make healthy decisions about their food, water, and household items.
