As part of the Institute for the Environment, the UNC Clean Tech + Innovation Program has launched a storytelling platform called, Clean Tech Stories. The content will bring the topics of global and regional transformation to life through student travel experiences and interviews with leading clean tech industry professionals and entrepreneurs. Specifically, there are blog entries from Clean Tech Summit interns, and graduate-level students who traveled to China and Korea this past summer with Greg Gangi, associate director of the Clean Tech + Innovation Program. The articles help provide a year-round and deeper look into the economic, workforce development and community impacts of clean tech innovation and entrepreneurship.
In addition, the UNC Clean Tech Summit 2020 is set for February 20 – 21 at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill. The two-day event will feature international speakers, a career fair and engaging tracks with fireside chats, panels and workshops. The event is produced in partnership with the Institute for the Environment and the Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
