CMAS Center, partners featured in special issue of EM Magazine

This article appears in the January 2024 issue of EM Magazine, a copyrighted publication of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA; www.awma.org).

As the Community Modeling and Analysis System (CMAS) Center celebrated its 22nd year in 2023, it was featured in a special issue of EM Magazine, a monthly publication of the professional organization Air & Waste Management Association. The issue also celebrates the 25th anniversary of CMAQ, an air quality modeling program supported by the CMAS Center.

Several researchers from the UNC Institute for the Environment contributed to the special issue.

The CMAS Center, funded by the U.S. EPA, has been housed at the UNC Institute for the Environment’s Center for Environmental Modeling for Policy Development since 2003.
