Regina Boone Hill

Biography

Regina Boone Hill has served as the lead development officer for the UNC Institute for the Environment since 2016 and has been employed with Carolina since 2008. Under her leadership, the UNC Institute for the Environment completed a successful fundraising campaign in 2022 as a part of UNC’s Campaign for Carolina, raising more than $12M for environmental research, community engagement, education and campus sustainability. In her role, Hill works in tandem with her IE colleagues to secure donations from alumni, friends, corporations, organizations and foundations to support the IE’s mission. Prior to her current position, Hill served as a development officer at UNC Children’s Hospital (Chapel Hill, N.C.), the Baldwin School (Bryn Mawr, Pa.), Cheyney University (Cheyney, Pa.) and Shaw University (Raleigh, N.C.).
