Coral Reef Ecology and Management Photos

Photos

Our library of photos from St. John and the surrounding area is growing. Currently, there are 578 underwater photos! This photo album is composed entirely of photos taken by Institute students, faculty, and staff. All photos are free to use or download, but please credit the Institute for the Environment and the photographer noted in each photo's caption. Identification of coral, fish, sponge, and other sea creatures is based on the Humann and DeLoach series of books; Reef Fish Identification, Reef Creature Identification, and Reef Coral Identification for the Florida, Caribbean, and Bahamas. No species were collected, so identification is based solely on photo analysis.
