ERP_Sarah and Asiya IDEAOn Saturday, September 26, IDEA high school students came to UNC’s Morehead Planetarium and Science Center to explore the Water in Our World exhibit, which explores the ways we get water, why we need to clean it and the future of this most precious resource. They also viewed the Dynamic Earth planetarium show and talked with Amy Cooke, director of undergraduate studies for UNC’s Curriculum for the Environment and Ecology, about careers in the geosciences.  After these experiences, students engaged in a lively discussion about the connections of water to energy and agriculture.
